SEO should tell the truth.
Pylon is an AI-native SEO platform built by Bytenovo. It started with one frustration: tools that handed us a score and expected us to believe it. So we made the platform prove its work — measured where it can, labelled where it can’t.
- Technical audits
- AI visibility (GEO/AEO)
- Rank tracking & competitor gaps

We built Pylon because we stopped trusting the scores
Before Pylon, we ran SEO the way everyone else does: a few subscriptions, a weekly export, and dashboards full of numbers nobody could fully explain. Plug in a site, get a score. Change nothing, run it again a week later, and watch the number drift. Ask the tool why it moved, and there’s no answer to be had — the math is hidden on purpose.
We built Pylon backwards from that. Every number on screen traces back to something we actually stored — the crawl, the SERP, the snapshot. And when we can’t measure something, like search demand or a competitor’s authority, it gets labelled as an estimate in plain text, right where it appears. You never have to guess whether a figure is data or a guess.
We’re the product team behind Bytenovo, and we work directly on the product — the people who answer support email are the same ones shipping the crawler, checkout and reports. That’s the whole honesty policy, and it doesn’t fit in a tagline.
Measured
Archived snapshotRetrieved from the stored SERP of the latest ranking run — re-runnable at any time.
Estimated
ModelledA modelled figure running through a country & language seed — labelled, never presented as fact.
If the platform can’t prove a number, it says so on the same screen where the number appears. That’s the rule you get with every plan.
Three-step rule
Crawl it. Measure it. Label it.
Crawl. Measure. Label.
Three rules sit under every screen in the product. Nothing gets to the dashboard without passing all of them.
Crawl
The Pylon crawler walks your site the way a search engine would: robots.txt first, crawl budgets respected, every page stored as a row you can actually read.
Measure
Rankings come from live SERP providers, snapshots are archived per run, and competitor data is stored — so every number on screen traces back to a row in the database.
Label
Anything modelled rather than measured — demand estimates, competitor authority, AI outputs — carries an "estimated" label. You always know what is real and what is a guess.
One workspace for the whole SEO loop
From the first crawl to the winning answer — audits, rankings, AI visibility and competitor gaps run from a single source of truth, so a technical finding and a content decision never disagree.
Technical audits that prioritise
Our own crawler walks your site, respects robots.txt and crawl-rate limits, and dedupes the findings so you ship the highest-impact fixes first — not a 1,204-line wall of issues.
Rank tracking that stays honest
Device splits, local SERPs and feature drift are reported separately, because a single "rank 12" number can quietly lie to you.
AI visibility (GEO / AEO)
Mentions, citations and answer-type context across AI search, with every AI-labelled figure flagged as generated, never passed off as measured.
Competitor gaps that are measurable
Stored, archived snapshots of your market — shared keywords, content gaps and the DA-claimed rivals are shown as estimates when that is what they are.
Built around your workflows
Workspace-scoped teams, scheduled reports, granular crawls and an API — for agencies and in-house teams who run many sites at once.
Growth that pays for itself
A freemium entry, a 7-day no-card trial and plans that scale from one site to catalog-scale enterprise crawls.
The rules we refuse to break
These weren’t added later as marketing — they are product invariants. If a screen would require breaking one, the feature ships half-built instead.
Measured vs estimated, always labelled
Demand figures, competitor authority and AI outputs are modelled estimates unless a provider really measured them. When we cannot prove a number, we say so on the screen.
A crawler that follows the rules
Pylon does not sneak past robots.txt or hammer your servers. Crawl budgets and rate limits are respected by default.
Your data stays yours
Sites, crawls, keywords and reports you import are owned by you, scoped to your workspace and never sold. See the Privacy Policy for the details.
Plain language over jargon
Findings are written so a non-technical founder can decide what to fix — then deepened for the engineer who has to fix it.
