Terms of Service

Pylon SEO ("we", "us", "our") is operated by Bytenovo. These Terms sit alongside the Privacy Policy; the Refund & Cancellation Policy applies to everything you pay for. If you bought through one of our platform storefronts (WordPress, Shopify, Wix, BigCommerce, Squarespace) the same terms cover that order.

You need an account to use the dashboard. Provide accurate information, verify your email when asked, and keep your credentials private. Your session token lives in your browser and is never exposed to other people.

You are responsible for activity under your account. Tell us immediately at contact@pylonseo.io if you believe someone else is using it.

Only connect sites you own or have permission to audit — for example an authorised client, your employer, or a workspace you were invited to. If you joined a shared workspace, the workspace owner may control access to the data in it.

Our crawler follows each site’s access rules (robots.txt and crawl-rate limits). You are responsible for keeping your site list accurate and removing connections you no longer own.

Every new account starts with a 7-day trial — no credit card required. After the trial the Free plan remains free to use, and paid plans (Growth, Agency) are billed monthly or annually only when you check out.

Plans are billed for the period you choose (monthly or annual). At the end of a period your access lapses unless you renew — we email a reminder before it expires, and because renewals are buyer-initiated you are never charged again automatically. You can cancel at any time — see the Refund & Cancellation Policy for exactly how.

Prices are displayed in USD (billed via PayPal and international cards) or INR (billed via Razorpay — UPI, cards, netbanking) depending on where you are. If a payment fails, the order is marked failed and no licence or entitlement is issued until the payment settles. Price changes apply from your next renewal, never mid-period.

WordPress, Shopify, Wix, BigCommerce and Squarespace plugin purchases deliver a unique single-site licence key (beginning with pse_) immediately after payment, shown on your order confirmation screen and emailed to you.

Each key activates one site and is not transferable to a different site or platform. SaaS entitlements on paid plans are tied to your account, not to a key.

AI Visibility, AI research and Prompt Research call third-party large-language-model providers through OpenRouter. Seed keywords and prompts are sent to the provider to generate ideas and summaries.

AI output is generated, not measured, and can be wrong — verify anything that materially affects your decisions. AI credits included with paid plans are consumed when a run completes and are non-refundable once used (see the Refund & Cancellation Policy).

You keep ownership of the site and content data you import. We use it to provide the service — audits, rank tracking, reports, AI visibility — and we do not sell it. See the Privacy Policy for retention windows and your rights.

You agree not to:

• Attempt to access another customer’s data, accounts or workspaces (the platform is multi-tenant and access is strictly scoped).
• Interfere with the service, abuse rate limits, or use automated means to crawl the product itself.
• Resell or sublicense the dashboard, API or exported data, except as the end-client deliverables your paid plan explicitly allows.
• Import illegal content or content you have no right to process.
• Use the service to build a competing SEO platform or derive its internals.

The product software, reporting templates and Pylon SEO branding belong to us or our licensors. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service for your business. Reports you generate on your own sites are yours to keep.

Rankings, search-volume figures and similar metrics are modelled estimates or third-party provider data with limits of their own. They are provided "as is" with no guarantee of uninterrupted availability or perfect accuracy.

We do not guarantee rankings, traffic or any search-engine behaviour. Audits and AI suggestions are guidance, not an assurance of compliance or performance.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim in contract, tort or otherwise is limited to the amounts you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses such as lost revenue, lost data or business interruption.

You can stop using the service at any time. To delete your account and its data, email contact@pylonseo.io; we process deletion requests within 30 days (see Retention in the Privacy Policy).

We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches these terms, abuses the platform or violates law. Where practical we will tell you why and give you a chance to fix it.

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Bytenovo is established, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules, and the courts of that jurisdiction have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes. Nothing here limits the non-waivable consumer protections that apply to you in your own country.

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes are announced (by email or on-site banner) before they take effect; continued use after the change means you accept the new version. The current version is always on this page.
