This policy explains how Pylon SEO handles the data you share when buying a licence, creating an account or using the platform. It applies to the dashboard, the API, the public tools and every storefront order.
What we collect
When you check out we collect your name, email and (optionally) phone so we can create your account, invoice you and deliver your licence key. If you subscribe to the newsletter, we store your email for the marketing list you opted into.
When you use the dashboard we store the sites you connect, their crawl and audit data, tracked keywords, rankings and the reports you generate — because we cannot provide the service without them.
Payments
We do not see or store card numbers. Payments are processed by Razorpay (INR) and PayPal (USD), which are PCI-DSS compliant. Our servers only store the order reference and the payment confirmation returned by the gateway.
How your data is used
Your details are used to provide the service: issuing and managing licences, sending order confirmations and receipts, sending renewal and expiry reminders, and providing support. We do not sell personal data to third parties.
Third parties we share data with
- Payment processing: Razorpay (INR orders) and PayPal (USD orders). They receive your name, email, address and order amount to clear the transaction; we never see card numbers.
- AI inference: AI Visibility, AI research and Prompt Research call third-party large-language-model providers (via OpenRouter) and send them the seed keywords and prompts you run. Demand numbers are never sent as invented data — the AI generates ideas only.
- Infrastructure: our hosting and PostgreSQL database provider stores the data described above so we can run the service and keep it backed up.
Retention
Order records are kept for accounting and licence verification as required by law. Marketing emails can be unsubscribed at any time via the link in each email. When you ask us to delete your account, we deactivate it and revoke your sessions immediately, and personal data from the account is removed within 30 days of your request, except records we are legally required to keep.
Your rights
You can request a copy, correction or deletion of your personal data at any time. Contact us and we will respond within 30 days. Exercising these rights never affects your purchased licence rights.
Questions or a data request?
Write to us from the email address on your account and we'll respond within 30 days. Please include the order number or account email so we can locate the right record.
